We have just installed UM 3.5.0 to monitor our vCenter Appliance 6.0u2. We also have installed vCenter Operations Manager 5.8.5 in foundation mode and registred in the vCenter. When running in foundation mode it dosn't have a license installed.
Now UM 3.5.0 discovers the vCenter Operations Manager and in vCenter it is registred as a vRealize Operations Manager. Every time UM collects usage data it complains about missing license for Operations Manager, both in the monitoring page and also by email. This is very annoying and it is now possible to disable it.
I think UM should detect that Operations Manager is operation in foundation mode and accept that and not look for a license in vCenter. Or at least it should be possible to silence the errors og make it ignore the Operations Manager.
In UM 3.3.3 and 3.4 they wasn't complaining about the Operations Manager in foundation mode.
