We are running resource meter 3.3.3 and we are trying to create a rule against a folder so that we can inventory the VM's. I have checked the permissions against the VM folder and the resource meter account has read access. The rule we are creating is rule type = folder value type = unique id and then the value which is the name of the vm. We are running the rule against a vCenter
Any help would be gratefully received as we have been having lots of issues with the resource meter and gave been advised not to use 3.4 by VMware support
